Medical Scientific Liaison

Responsibilities:

The MSL shall act as a scientific expert between Bayer and the medical community through the dissemination and education of scientific data and material.
The MSL establishes long-term scientific/strategic relationships with key, influential physicians/scientists and with related major medical associations and academic centers of excellence.

Requirements:

Education: Medical Doctor (preferably)
Fresh graduates are welcome
High motivated, fast learner and adaptable person
Familiar with WORDS, EXCEL, POWERPOINT
English (spoken & written)

Medical Scientific Liaison

Job Purpose

Build scientific partnerships with healthcare professionals and decision makers to build advocacy. Strategically prepare and support the development, launch and commercialization of drug products through education of KOLs/Key Stakeholders, education of the scientific community and KOLs, clinical trial support, and by the scientific exchange seeking external insight to shape Novartis commercial and development programs.

Ideal Background

Education Required (minimum/desirable) : Medical Degree is a MUST with solid medical/technical background and proven competencies influencing skills, clinical research insight, business and market knowledge.

Languages : Fluent in English & Local Language (oral and written).

Experience/Professional requirement:

Proven ability to develop and foster peer-to-peer, credible relationships in order to educate and negotiate KOL/decision makers.
Working knowledge of the Healthcare System and of the research procedures as well as the ICH guidelines, GCP and other ethical guidelines relevant to the pharmaceutical industry,
Thorough knowledge of clinical medicine, disease management, and medical research in at least one therapeutic area.
Ability to synthesize recent scientific information, analyze them within strategic and regulatory settings.
Strong personal integrity, and customer focus.
Excellent interpersonal communication, negotiation and advanced presentation skills.
Effectively contribute to work on multifunctional teams.
Must be able to adapt, organize, prioritize, and work effectively in a constantly changing field-based environment.
